TURKEY'S FIRST GEOSENTETICS, ASPHALT AND MARBLE R&D CENTER

The general mission of Istanbul Teknik İnşaat in R&D studies, which is one of the leading companies in the production of asphalt chemicals, geogrid, anchor and green roof drainage plates in Turkey, especially in the highways and construction product group is is to develop the raw materials that are not produced or limited in our country and increase the dependency on imports, with domestic engineering studies and original formulas that can achieve competitive potential in global markets, as well as to bring unique and new product groups to the sector.

Istanbul Teknik Inşaat, which has achieved many FIRSTS and BESTs with the products, solutions and applications it has developed since the first day of its departure, has positioned its R&D center as a different business unit in a different location from the general directorate with this mission.

Istanbul Teknik Inşaat R&D Center, which succeeded to become the first R&D Center in Türkiye in the fields of geosynthetics, asphalt and marble, has been registered as an R&D Center by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, General Directorate of R&D Incentives in January 2019.

The R&D Center, which participates in congresses and seminars with its academic publications; It cooperates with domestic and foreign universities, industrial companies and research centers, and also actively carries out its activities in support platforms such as TUBITAK, KOSGEB, Horizon Europe and Eureka.

Istanbul Teknik Inşaat R&D Center continues its activities in a structure that provides innovation to the company in terms of new technology, new products, new processes and know-how, keeps up with the developments and carries out all the works it has done or will do within a certain systematic.
