We are one of the 4 projects supported by the Eurostars-3 Programme

The amount of funding for the Development of Flame Retardant and Energy Saving Microcapsules for Thermal Comfort in Buildings project, of which we are the coordinator, has been announced.

The total budget of the project, which is carried out under the Horizon Europe / European Innovation Ecosystems work program and within the scope of the “European Partnership on Innovative SMEs (INNOVSMEs) call, with the cooperation of Eurostars-3, Eureka Secretariat and 37 member countries, has been announced as €1,149,832.

The project, which aims to increase energy savings by developing energy-saving materials and methods, covers both traditional and new generation buildings. Some of the notable technological achievements of the project are the development of flame-retardant products, spray dryer drying techniques and modeling methods on building applications.

While it is aimed that the final product to be obtained upon completion of the project will significantly reduce energy consumption; Along with Istanbul Teknik, the consortium partners, which include 1 Turkish, 1 Spanish and 1 British company, are also planned to enter the European insulation market with innovative and cost-effective energy efficiency renovation solutions.

The completion date of the project, in which Istanbul Teknik İnşaat is the consortium executive and project coordinator, was announced as November 2025.
