İzoTeknik Non-Woven Geotextile is a non-woven textile product in dark color which is produced by the method of knitting the pure polyester-based fibers much thinner than millimeter and by executing heat treatment.
Due to the frequent needling and superior production technology, the fibers have high order and tightness. Thanks to the raw material and production quality, it has high tensile and puncture strength.
It is resistant to microbiological and chemical effects for a long time in underground applications.
It provides the advantage of fast application in addition to material and labor savings with minimum overlap in large areas with production possibilities up to 6 m.
It successfully fulfills the functions of filtering, separation and protection in engineering applications.
For Filtration
GeoTeknik Polypropylene Nonwoven Geotextile, when used between filling layers, does not allow the passage of fine particles, while allowing the passage of water and acts as a filter. Areas of use include French drainage systems, around perforated drainage pipes, retaining walls, coastal structures and green roof systems.
For Filtering
It is used as an in-between filter material to prevent the fine material from blocking pores of other material or avoid formation of washing phenomenon in the cases where coarse and fine materials are used together for engineering applications. Fine materials are spread over the floor under the foundation to prevent the immersion of coarse materials in time. It also prevents coarse materials from losing their engineering characteristics by being contaminated with fine materials.
For Protection
Thanks to its high puncture resistance; it protects the underlying materials against impacts by being used on thermal insulating boards for terrace roof applications, and it allows diverse operations with materials and prevents the flow of cement slurry down.
